Every night at 2:15 AM Council takes a snapshot of the database, checks it opens cleanly, compresses it and uploads it to the firm's storage bucket — off the server, so losing the server doesn't lose the data. Thirty days are kept, plus the 1st of each month for a year. Download latest gives you the newest copy to file away yourself.

Deadlines — Google (two-way)

Deadlines entered in Council are mirrored to a Google calendar called Council Deadlines, and edits made there — on a phone — come straight back into Council. A date changed on a phone is applied immediately and flagged so the reason can be filled in afterwards.

Legacy Deadlines calendar (read-only history)

The old one-way calendar — Deadlines 2026 — is kept as history and nothing new is written to it. Naming it here only tells Council's calendar importer to leave it alone, so its events don't get pulled in twice. New deadlines live on the two-way calendar above.
